QotD: Reflecting on September 11th
What are your personal memories of September 11th?
I remember I'd neglected to do my homework the night before.
I remember having to have my car pool wait on me because I was late getting up.
I remember seeing my English teacher, Ms. O'Flaherty, was in a car accident that morning.
I remember we were kept anxious and unaware...because my school's principal didn't want us "to be frightened."
I remember my Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Serrone, telling us we'd remember this day for the rest of our lives.

Comments
I remember people getting picked up from school early but none of the teacher's telling us what was up.
I remember acting as if it was a normal day, despite all the people having gone home way before dismissal.
I remember not paying it much mind.
I remember walking home from the bus stop and seeing Dad's car parked outside and getting excited that my father had actually came home early and wondered what the ocassion was.
I remember strolling in to see my dad in the family room, me grinning like "What are you doing home?" and him flipping on the t.v. to that scene that splayed over millions of screens to billions of people.
